You introduce yourself to the company, the company to you and try to find common ground. And after 5 minutes, BANG! You move a chair over to the next chair to meet the next promising collaboration. HOW’S IT GOING?
It’s “speed dating” = quick job interviews. Within two hours, a candidate can go through several interviews and kick-start his or her career, and conversely, the employer has the chance to find new colleagues for his or her team in the same amount of time!
At first glance, you will see several tables in the room occupied by representatives from companies looking for candidates for various positions. At each table and with each employer, you have 5 minutes to convince the employer on the other side of the table that they need you in their company. After 5 minutes the moderator hits bang! and you move on to the next table with another employer.
A well-prepared, structured CV, a smile, original answers to questions or practice in front of the mirror can help. You can complete up to twenty interviews during your HR date! And that’s worth the courage to attend.
